About Ethan
Ethan Simmons-Patterson is a rising force in stand-up comedy, known for his laid-back delivery and sharp observational humor. Originally from Waukegan, Illinois, Ethan got his start performing in Iowa City while in college, graduating in 2015 before taking his talents to New York City.
Now based in Brooklyn, Ethan has become a regular in one of the most competitive comedy scenes in the country. He performs frequently at top venues including the world-renowned Comedy Cellar, The Stand NYC, and New York Comedy Club.
Drawing from his Midwestern roots and his experiences navigating life in New York, Ethan’s material blends clever writing with an easygoing stage presence that resonates with audiences. With a unique voice and a growing reputation, he continues to establish himself as a standout performer in the New York comedy scene.
